Transportation Management SpecialistOnsite About the job Location: Greer, SCPay rate: W2 Salary/ W2 HourlyJob ID: 4771No C2C. No subcontracting. Must be able to work on W2 with DataSoft Technologies.Overview Supports the transportation service provider to ensure they meet all key performance indicators (KPIs) and serves as a point of contact to assist in resolving any issues related to the targets being achieved. Leads and steers projets related to the provider and demonstrates the ability to create and utilize escalation processes to ensure support and accountability of the transportation service provider.Responsibilities: Performs and documents both monthly and quarterly evaluations of transportation service provider performance to ensure they are achieving all established targets.Reports on the transportation service provider non-conformances in a structured manner.Defines an escalation process to report identified repetitive issues with identified countermeasures.Utilizes defined escalation paths when required to ensure support, action and accountability is provided, steer as needed.Provides recommendations on how the transportation service provider can improve operational efficiencies to include, but not limited to, team collaboration, visual management, best practices, etc.Collaborates actively with the transportation service providers and/or other process partners impacted by the transportation service provider's processes.Ensures process standardization is maintained on all shifts through process revisions and communications with the immediate team and/or transportation service providers.Establishes individual performance targets for transportation service providers and provides documented quarterly performance reviews.Performs other duties as assigned by management Operations Supervisor.Qualifications: BA/BS degree in Economics, Engineering, Supply Chain Management or related fieldAdvanced Microsoft Office Skills to include Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, as proved through business applications.SAP Experience (tracking shipments and looking for parts)Power BI preferred for KPI trackingMust Have: Microsoft Excel (pivot tables and macros)5+ years of:professional experience managing logistics service provider/supplier contract compliance and/or supply chain management experience.proven problem solving skills.3+ years of:Project Management experienceconduction predictive analytics or statistical risk analysis.transportation scheduling.communication skills (oral and written) as proven through business application.About our Company DataSoft Technologies is a highly recognized provider of professional IT Consulting services in the US.
