📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
DataStaff is in need of a Programmer Analyst for one of our direct clients in the Richmond, VA area for a long-term contract opportunity.
- This position is hybrid; the selected candidate must work onsite 3 days per week.*Some local travel required
Responsibilities:Work with the data science team to build the visualization applications using ArcGIS and PowerBI platforms and also build internal applications using the PowerApps/Powerautomate platform.Reimagining transportation through a culture of innovation; Innovating through a set of high impact imperativesOSI purpose, goals, and portfolio statementWhat broad set of solutions is OSI pursuing? Working smarter and proactively though the use of data analytics and automation. Building digital twins of the roadway infrastructure to bring the data, computing, visualization together.Modernize the applicationsGain broad understanding of the innovation frameworkUse the innovative/latest tools and best practices to build applications using the Power Platform and ArcGISFollow all applicable industry and standards, processes and ProtocolsEngage multiple customers and develop applications to meet their needsManage stakeholder communications and expectations
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Process mapping experience,Code Documentation,Writing Requirements/Scope documents,Writing use-cases,using architectural artifactsinterpreting solution architecturesExcellent written and oral communicationCustomer focused collaborationAbility to travel around the state as neededOther Software Knowledge: Visio, Visual Studio Code/Visual Studio Community Edition, SQL Server, Azure Datalakes and Warehouse, Oracle, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Experiences
Required Skills:5 Years - Programming experience in a high level compiled language such as C#, C++, Java5 Years - Experience with scripting languages such as JavaScript and Python2 Years - Experience with Microsoft PowerPlatform to include PowerApps, PowerAutomate, SharePoint and Dataverse5 Years - Experience using GIS for creating dynamic mapping applications and processing real-time location data.5 Years - Experience using RESTFul APIS
This opportunity is available on a corp-to-corp basis or as a W2 position with a competitive benefits package.
