Our client, a leading manufacturer of carbide cutting tools for the metalworking industry, is seeking a Sales Applications Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metalworking and sales, with a passion for providing cutting-edge solutions to customers.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain strong relationships with metalworking customers, understanding their needs and providing technical solutions using the company's carbide cutting tools.Provide technical support to metalworking customers, including tool selection, application guidance, and troubleshooting.Collaborate with the sales team to identify new opportunities and drive revenue growth in the metalworking sector.Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions for metalworking customers and internal teams.Stay up-to-date with metalworking industry trends and competitive products to maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.3+ years of experience in sales or applications engineering, preferably in the metalworking or cutting tool industry.Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and communicate complex engineering concepts related to metalworking.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Ability to travel as needed to meet with metalworking customers and attend trade shows.
