📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
ASSOCIATE FINANCIAL ADVISOR
Location: Greensboro, NC
OVERVIEWDavenport is seeking a hard-working and business minded professional to join its Greensboro Retail Sales team. This full-time, exempt position will join and help support a team of Financial Advisors while fostering a positive relationship between clients and the firm.
An ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience in the financial services industry, and excellent customer service and communication skills.
RESPONSIBILITIESResponsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:Develop and execute business strategies to attract, acquire and maintain client relationshipsListen to client financial needs, goals, time horizon, objectives and risk profile and collect client dataDevelop, recommend and implement appropriate investment strategies for clientsMonitor progress of client strategies and recommend needed changes under various market conditions as well as when client goals and life events call for modificationPossess a thorough understanding, and continuing education, of a broad spectrum of both existing and new investment products and strategiesConduct business within the confines of legal and regulatory guidelines at all times
QUALIFICATIONSCollege Degree and/or related industry experienceMinimum of 3 years of related industry experienceSeries 7 and 66 Licensed, or must obtain within six months from date of hireExtremely well-organized, detail oriented and accurate; must be able to multi-task and meet deadlinesHighly motivated with excellent communication and customer service skillsProficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and ExcelAbility to learn and master computer programs that house customer dataAbility to understand and adhere to industry rules and regulationsProfessional demeanor
