Job Description

Title: Cost Analyst

Summary: Provide comprehensive costing assistance by successfully costing of Custom Creations, price change requests and Production Bridal Activation.

Responsibilities

Provide multifaceted costing for new product development efforts focusing on engineering, manufacturing, cost, and design aesthetic needs; collaborate with project managers to complete pricing. Review & validate PO cost change requests and actively communicate with vendor on price discrepancy. Full ownership of updating & managing Production Bridal Activation, Finished Goods and Component cost changes. Manage assigned Creations Custom requests. Assist to keep all costing updated after production and maintain margins. Complete price comparison from show costing to final production costing. Create and update various costing charts. Maintain systems as required (PLM, Qiwk reports, Jira, Oracle). Support additional manufacturing and engineering-related initiatives as needed.

Qualifications

1-3 years of professional working experience. Demonstrates critical thinking, problem solving and dedication to deepen understanding on the scope of work while continuing to improve skills. Ability to analyze and balance business needs while being cost conscious. Strong work-ethic with effective organizational skills and attention to detail while proactively seeks new solutions. Knowledge of modern jewelry manufacturing techniques, precious metal metallurgy and/or investment casting. Proven ability to work proactively, independently, and as a strategic partner in a team environment. Ability to multi-task and prioritize various projects while under pressure and meet deadlines. Provides cost analysis on various costings with ability to communicate clearly and translate data-driven analysis into concise materials and actionable recommendations. Excellent proficiency in Microsoft ExcelWorking knowledge of InDesign/Illustrator/Photoshop a plusWorking knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) & Oracle softwareStrong communication (English written and verbal) & interpersonal skills.

Education: BA/BS degree required.

Location: New York, NY (Tribeca)

Work Model: Hybrid (3 Days in Office / 2 Days Remote)

Estimated Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000
