DaVita is currently seeking a Financial Analyst to join our high performing corporate finance team. The ideal candidate will be a quick-learner with a strong sense of "team" and the ability to build relationships with cross-functional partners. The person in this position will be challenged to critically think through complex problems and help solve critical business issues that affect daily operations and overall financial performance. This position and team is based in Denver, Colorado.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Analytics
Strong foundation in quantitative concepts (e.g. financial, statistical, forecasting, etc.)Manage, develop and execute highly visible financial reports that allow C-level executives to identify opportunities and risk areas for future business performanceDevelop financial models and perform analyses that support strategic decision making for DaVita executive leadersSupport the annual enterprise-level budget and long-term strategic forecast processes as well as monthly and quarterly forecasts for developing Wall Street earnings guidanceContribute to presentations for senior executives as neededOther strategic, operational, financial or special projects as needed
Accountability
Deliver on-time and accurate recurring financial reporting that provide meaningful insights and drive strategic decision making by our senior executivesAbility to prioritize multiple tasks, identifying and acting on most important business problems to solveDrive actionable recommendations from synthesis of insights that push partners to differential results or new strategiesAppropriately manage potential roadblocks proactively identifying, communicating, and solving issues
Communication
Prioritize communications to focus on most critical information with a bias towards actionContribute to effective communication including insights and progress towards results
Team
Contribute to a team environment of trust and learning with multi-directional feedbackCollaborate with and participate in cross-functional teams across numerous finance lanes on special projects

Desired Qualifications
BA or BS in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or other quantitative field1+ years of experience in a financial analyst role, equivalent certification (e.g. CFA, CPA) or advanced degree (e.g., Masters in Finance) preferred but not requiredFamiliarity with financial statements, the relationships among them and the underlying business operations they representExperience with and understanding of financial analysis, financial modeling or profitability analysis techniques preferred but not requiredExperience with analytical methods and software, financial planning, accounting or other database systems such as Anaplan, Hyperion Essbase, VBA, Python or SQL a plusIntellectually curious, eager to learn and comfortable with ambiguitySolid work ethic, including ability to follow-up, focus on details and take initiativeStrong verbal and written communication skills: able to communicate effectively with teammates both internal and external to finance and at senior levels of the organizationAdvanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPointEffective time management and organization skillsTeam player with a great attitude who lives our Core Value of Fun

Salary/ Wage Range
$51,400.00 - $75,500.00 / year
Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
