EMI Technician

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to
Wiring of test itemsOrdering SuppliesOrganizing test lab, chambers, and equipment cageCollecting out of calibration equipmentLaying out cables, per diagrams, for test set upsPerform electrical and EMI testing using test equipment and softwareCollecting test data and provide to engineerReceiving and Shipping test itemsOccasional travel depending on workload
The ideal candidate will need
1 year experience as electrical technician or 2 years as an intern.Hands on experience with oscilloscope and digital multi-meter. Experience with Signal generator/Spectrum analyzer a plusAbility to follow simple block diagrams/schematicsMicrosoft word/Simple Data entry a mustAbility to work well with others and follow directionsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and work directly with customersAbility to Swing Shift for short durations
