📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer Location: Atlanta GA Job Description:
- Create conceptual designs •Experience and ability to make calculations and simple analysis of design and materials to optimize design, BOM Experience•Experience in mech systems (In particular fluids and thermal dynamics analysis with Respect to •designing & specifying systems, Ability to run calculations on flow and thermal dynamics.)
- Good SolidWorks CAD experience (Modelling, Assembly, Drawings, layout) Experience working • with suppliers and generating Component specifications • Experience working in product development environment & Prototyping • Previous experience with FDA/FAA requirements • Experience in Interior domain (Aerospace) • Experience in new product design/ re-design preferably • Experience in 3D model and drawing creation • Engineer should have knowledge on interior modification retro fitment and design change, assembly, and installation with addressing the issue at aircraft level. etc.
- Ability work with cross functional departments like, Mfg. Assembly, Integration, Qualification and testingExperience in electrical component selection/installation (e.g. Sensors, Antennas, Radars etc..) for new product development.Experience in working on harness routing between different electrical components.
