Job DescriptionWe’re currently looking for an experienced and entrepreneurial Commercial Director to unlock our next phase of growth in the USA. This role is currently an Individual Contributor, reporting to the USA CEO of the company. The ideal candidate is a team player, strategic thinker, and world-class executor driven by making an impact.
The Commercial Director is responsible for
Conduct regular market analysis, competitor benchmarking, and consumer research to develop and execute strategic plans for product categoryCurate a diverse and compelling assortment of products within the categoryBuild and maintain relationships with partnersEstablish pricing strategiesCollaborate with the company’s supply team to forecast demandMonitor category performance metricsCollaborate with the company’s marketing team to develop and execute marketing plans for product categoryProvide insights from market research and consumer feedback, guiding the development of productsEnsure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and ethical business practices QualificationsFor a candidate to be successful in this role, this person should have:
Proven experience in a senior commercial or sales management role within the outdoor industryStrong understanding of the US outdoor market landscape, consumer behavior, and industry trendsExcellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teamsAnalytical mindset with proficiency in data-driven decision-makingEffective communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholdersStrategic thinker with a results-oriented approachA passion for outdoor sports and brand-building
