The Opportunity

Delaware North Sportservice is hiring seasonal Warehouse Supervisors to join our team at Petco Park in San Diego, California. As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will assist management in carrying out daily operations of the commissary and warehouse department.

$23.00 - $24.00 / hour

Responsibilities

Supervise commissary team, including assigning duties, training, coaching, and counselingEnsure proper stock of food and beverage productsOversee inventory control, including receiving shipments, disposing of outdated material, cycle countingMaintain safety, security, and cleanliness of storage areas, passageways, elevators, and work areasOversee the proper closing of assigned areaEnforce company policies and safety regulationsInitiate and organize procedures to set standards for the warehouse

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years oldMinimum 6 months food and beverage commissary or related experience requiredPrevious experience with Excel or similar database management computer systems Ability to delegate and coach othersBasic math skillsAbility to read and interpret deliveries and purchasesNo college degree required

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift, push, pull, and maneuver up to 165 poundsFrequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, lifting and reaching, during the entire length of shiftAbility to work in a warehouse environment where temperatures may range from cold to hot depending on the season
