Chief Financial Officer

This position is responsible for shaping the financial strategy of the organization, ensuring fiscal responsibility, and contributing to the overall success of DVCH's mission. Responsible for forecasting the organization's financial standing based on financial and operational data and reports provided by the finance and accounting teams. Works closely with the CEO and board to develop and implement financial strategies that support the organization’s strategic direction.

ResponsibilitiesCreate and present financial and tax strategy recommendations to CEOSupport the financial planning and analysis effortsOversee cash flow, cash management, working capital, and company auditsPrepare financial statements and reportsEnsure legal compliance on all financial functionsManage relationships with banks

QualificationsBachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; MBA or CPA designation is preferred.At least 10 years of progressively responsible experience in financial management; financial experience at a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), in healthcare and/or in non-profit organizations preferred.In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, reimbursement models and regulatory compliance.Strong financial acumen, analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data to diverse stakeholders effectively.Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Demonstrated passion for the mission and work of the organization.
