Position: Data AnalystLocation: Chesterfield, VA 23235 (ON-SITE)Duration: Long Term
Client is seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join our team and play a crucial role in the Data Migration project for the Law Enforcement Administration Management System (LEAMS) with the Virginia State Police. As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for assessing complex data systems and programs, supporting ad-hoc and standing management or customer requests related to data migration. Responsibilities:with internal teams to understand data needs and objectives.clean, and transform data from diverse sources for analysis.data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.data quality, applications, and functions to ensure accurate migration.output and sustain the operation of data migration processes.new data sources and analytical tools for improved migration strategies.to new product development and enhancements in data delivery and presentation.data, analyze results using statistical techniques, and provide ongoing reports.analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.visualizations and reports for stakeholders.and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems.with the LEAMS team to perform a proper audit of active files during the migration.
Qualifications:experience as a Data Analyst or related role.expertise regarding data models, database design, data mining, and segmentation techniques.knowledge of and experience with reporting packages and databases (SQL, etc.).in programming languages (Python, R, etc.) is a plus.analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.at queries, report writing, and presenting findings.knowledge of Microsoft Office with an emphasis on Microsoft Excel.and Experience: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science).
