Overview

Full-time Dental Hygienist position working Monday-Friday (7:00-3:30), with 1 Friday off per month.

College Park Dental, located in College Park Maryland, is seeking a dedicated, friendly, hygienist for our successful, growing dental practice.

Previous experience is alway a plus, but we also encourage new hygiene grads to apply as well. The Dental Hygienist we hire must have an active hygiene license for the state of Maryland. New hygiene grads must be applying for license soon.

Responsibilities

As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in improving the oral health of our patients through the delivery of periodontal therapies and other hygiene-related services. We are seeking candidates who are passionate about their dental work and dedicated to providing the highest level of care at all times. As a Dental Hygienist, you will have the opportunity to provide oral hygiene dental treatment and education under limited supervision. You will follow guidelines approved, issued, and regulated by the state in which you work, showcasing your expertise and professionalism. Patient screening, medical history and dental charting. Application of fluoride and protective sealants. Removal of calculus, stain and plaque from above and below the gum line. Provides nutritional counseling, and self-care programs to prevent disease. Perform other duties as assigned, showcasing your adaptability and willingness to contribute to the team.

Qualifications

Active Hygiene license for the state of Maryland Strong verbal and written communication skills
