STIG INNOVATOR // DEPLOYED LOGIX

As a STIG Innovator at Deployed Logix, you will play a vital role in designing and fabricating cutting-edge shelter solutions that cater to our clients' specific requirements. You will collaborate with our multidisciplinary Strategic and Technical Innovation Group, utilizing your creativity, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail to produce innovative and high-quality product designs and improvements. We are looking for a detail-oriented, inventive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional craftsmanship.

Responsibilities:Collaborate with the design and engineering teams to develop creative and functional shelter and support concepts that align with client needs, project specifications, and industry standards.Utilize your problem-solving abilities and creative mindset to design and fabricate prototypes and first articles using various materials, tools, and techniques.Incorporate innovative and sustainable design elements into our product portfolio, considering factors such as structural integrity, ease of deployment, and functionality and cross compatibility.Conduct thorough research on emerging materials, manufacturing methods, and construction techniques to enhance the efficiency and quality of our productsWork closely with engineers and technicians to test and validate product designs, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and performance standards.Maintain a high level of craftsmanship and attention to detail throughout the fabrication process, ensuring the delivery of superior quality products.Continuously iterate and improve existing designs based on client feedback, field performance data, and technological advancements.Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market demands, and competitors' offerings to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of the curve.

Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in sculpture, architecture, industrial design, engineering, or other innovative discipline or 2-3 years of vocational school or work experience in related fieldsProven experience as a maker, fabricator, or similar role, preferably within the disaster preparedness, construction or product design industry.Exceptional creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to generate unique design solutions based upon customer constraints.Proficiency in utilizing design software, prototyping tools, and traditional fabrication equipment.Strong knowledge of materials, construction techniques, and manufacturing processes.Detail-oriented mindset with a passion for delivering impeccable craftsmanship.Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of quality.Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.Ability to travel domestically and internationally for trade shows, customer demonstrations, requirements gathering.
