Work Based Learning Coordinator
📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Des Moines Public Schools is seeking a Work Based Learning Coordinator at Central Campus!
You would be responsible for planning, guiding and monitoring authentic work-based learning experiences for students that are aligned to the district’s career development mission. Working to provide enhanced educational opportunities for students by developing business and community partnerships that result in work-based learning opportunities such as internships, apprenticeships, job-shadowing, and/or clinicals.
Successful Candidates Will Posses
Bachelor's degree in work based learning, business or related field.
Experience in building and enhancing partnerships with business and industry
Hold a Multi-Occupation Coordinator (MOC) endorsement or Work Based Learning Site Coordinator endorsement or willingness to obtain.
Highly Skilled Candidates Will Posses
Experience and a solid foundation with online learning and content creation in learning management systems
Experience with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and CRM systems

SPEC / Exempt
260 days (year round)
8 hour days
Pay Range: $50,965 to $60,934

Single and Family Health Insurance at no cost to the employee during the first plan year of employment (July 1 - June 30).
