About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our technology and SaaS product capabilities, driving the development and execution of our technical vision and strategy. As a member of the Executive Leadership Team - reporting directly to the CEO - the CTO will play a critical role in aligning our technology and product efforts with the company's strategic objectives, fostering innovation, and building a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

Shape and Drive the Technical Vision: As a key player in our executiveleadership team, you'll have the opportunity to craft and execute a compelling technical vision and strategy that aligns perfectly with Design Manager’s ambitious objectives. Your strategic insight will pave the way for innovative solutions that keep us at the forefront of the design industry.

● Lead with Inspiration: Take the helm of our software engineering, qualityassurance, and cloud operations teams, guiding them with inspirationalleadership. Your ability to motivate and direct our talented team members iscrucial to transforming our technical vision into reality, ensuring we deliverexceptional value to our customers.

● Cultivate a Culture of Innovation and Excellence: Attracting, mentoring, and retaining top talent is at the heart of this role. Your guidance in implementing CI/CD and test automation processes will enhance our development lifecycle, setting new standards for quality and efficiency.

● Evaluate and Maximize Technical Investments: Your keen insight andexperience will be invaluable in assessing technical investments andpartnerships, making strategic decisions that maximize benefits for thecompany. Your expertise will ensure that every investment and partnershipaligns with our long-term vision and delivers tangible value.

● Optimize for Operational Excellence: You will optimize engineering andoperations metrics, ensuring that our teams not only meet but exceed SLAs and performance standards. Your focus on operational excellence will ensurereliability and scalability, underpinning the trust our customers place in Design Manager.

Desired Qualifications

● Referenceable experience in leading high-performing engineering teams infast-growing software (SaaS) companies backed by private equity/venturecapital investors.

● Demonstrable expertise in agile engineering and DevOps practices, with astrong foundation in modern development frameworks.

● Demonstrated success in team management, meeting key milestones without compromising quality or security.

● Recent experience with offshoring and building effective, distributed teams.

● Deep knowledge of application architecture, with a track record of optimizing critical infrastructure and applications.

● Familiarity with security and compliance standards (SOC, ISO, PCI, etc.).

● Proven ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
