Senior CADD Technician

Job Description

Dewberry is currently seeking a responsible, highly motivated, and detail oriented individual to join our transportation design department in our Mechanicsburg, Pittsburgh or Philadelphia, Pennsylvania offices as a Senior CADD Technician. This individual will work in a team environment with other drafters, designers, and professional engineers to prepare a variety of roadway, transportation and infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

This position requires the candidate to have a certificate in Engineering Drafting or Computer Aided Drafting (or equivalent) and experience in preparing exhibits and drawings using MicroStation and ORD. The candidate will be expected to develop CAD drawings with minimal supervision for both PennDOT and PA Turnpike Projects. Experience with GIS, Civil3D, AutoCAD, Inroads, 3D modeling, and Excel are also preferred.

Required Skills & Required Experience

Degree or certificate in Engineering Drafting, Computer Aided Drafting, or equivalent At least ten (10) years of engineering drafting experience MicroStation/ORD experience

Must have a valid driver’s license, good driving record and ability to pass a driving record background check.
