Business Analyst

Job Title: Price Risk Data Business AnalystLocation: New York City, NY(Hybrid)Duration: 12 monthsPay Range: $75/hr to $80/hr

Role Description:The role will be part of a core central project execution team within Front Office, that is charged with ensuring the timely execution of Price Risk deliverables across workstreams. As a business analyst, you will be an integral part of the team, responsible for pulling together key metrics and data analysis. You will closely collaborate with the Risk Technology partners to ensure the successful execution of our Risk Completeness deliverables. And will also play a part in UAT testing and work with partners in Risk and Finance.

Primary Responsibilities:Construct detailed target operating models, business plans and test scripts by working with stakeholders and ensuring consistency with technology partnersProduce Front Office risk transformation POC's across businesses to understand and manage edge casesIdentify Risks & Issues and proactively seek to resolve or escalate them in a timely and well-articulated mannerLead/participate in working groups with stakeholders and technology partners to manage the delivery within the agreed timeline(s)Manage issues around controls exceptions and track the remediation processesProduce weekly/monthly metrics on exception resultsProduce accurate and insightful project update materials and artifacts, tailoring to various forums, committees, and newslettersBuild strong relationships, adopting a joined up approach, to support the execution of projectSupport the business through UAT, E2E and production parallel testingAbility to create/enhances processes using Python/VBA

Key Skills:Experience in working with technology partners to execute business requirementsAbility to handle complexity, ambiguity and a fast changing, often demanding work environmentSelf-starting with proven ability to hit the ground runningStrong experience with data analytics, SQL, Python, and VBADemonstrated analytical skills with follow-up and problem-solving capabilityExcellent oral and written communications skillsMicrosoft Office suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and WordBachelor’s/University degreeFinance industry Experience preferredUnderstanding of risk management is a plus
