Instrument, Pricing & Common Reference Data is center of excellence providing a securities reference data to multiple lines of business across the Investment Bank
Within ARDS the Instrument Reference Data Operations team provides high quality Reference Data to its subscribers from major external market providers under a single operating model. Instrument attributes are sourced, validated, mastered, and distributed via the banks strategic Reference Data architecture and is used for trading, risk management, fund valuation, settlement, and regulatory reporting. The Asset Reference Data Analyst will ensure timely and accurate delivery of data for our internal customers and work with our technology, operations change team to drive innovative solution by using artificial intelligence or change request with Technology. The role is integral in the success of our security services organization.
RESPONSIBILITIESDaily validation in firms strategic reference data application to ensure quality of data.Work with data vendorβs and technology team to resolve data issues and improve quality of dataComplete all daily and monthly tasks within deadline.Resolve client queries promptly and professionally.Participate in meetings with internal stakeholder and help drive products and solutions suitable for client needs.Escalate all issues promptly and effectively to supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS1-3 years of experience in Fixed Income, Fund Valuation, Pricing or other related rolesKnowledge/understanding of interest in bonds/financial markets and productsKnowledge of industry activities like Corporate Actions, Index Benchmarking, Stock Markets and Fixed Income productsIntermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, V-LOOKUPS)Analytical/problem solving skills and attention to detailPricing vendor knowledge (Bloomberg, Reuters) is a PLUSStrong database/SQL knowledge is a PLUSBachelor degree (Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering preferred) or related field
Soft skills:Self-motivated and proactive with the proven ability to work accurately and under pressure to meet deadlinesDemonstrate ability to effectively communicate within a team environment and interact across departmentsAbility to work independently and multi-task in a fast paced environment
