Senior Manual Test Engineer

Job Title: Sr. Manual Test Engineer - UAT Location: Jersey City, NJ [OR] Coppell, TX [OR] Tampa, FL Hybrid 3 days Onsite / 2 days REMOTEDuration: 6 Months (CONTRACT TO HIRE) Skills & Experience Needed: Minimum of 6+ years of related IT experience.Minimum of 2 years' experience leading large scale testing efforts or program managementIntermediate level knowledge/experience in Excel (V-Look ups, Pivot Tables)Experience with Manual testing/User Acceptance testing and Test Engineering methodologiesExperience with test data management is a plusDetailed understanding of smoke testing, as well as regression testingExperience in estimating, prioritizing, and planning testing activitiesIn depth knowledge of the SDLC and STLC lifecyclesPreferably from the Capital Market domain with proven understanding of trade lifecyclesEye for business with knowledge of Financial Risk Management or strong desire to learnExperienced in Agile/Waterfall, onsite/offshore work model and coordinationExperience presenting to business users/stakeholders Summary / Description & Responsibilities:Prepare, maintain, and execute test cases based on epics and releases; present results and supervise defects to closurePrepare, maintain, and execute scripts for manual testingReview test cases / manual testing approach with team members to ensure comprehensive coverage and acquire feedbackTrack test execution breakthroughs, report on issues and risks with the potential to affect project timelinesConstruct appropriate end-to-end business scenarios through the application of a broad understanding of business objectives and goalsCollaborate with delivery pipeline teams to drive adoption and resolve open issues.Identify dependencies for environmental and data requirements; lead and maintain environment and data.Provide mentorship to colleagues related to test coverage and test casesDevelop a detailed understanding of the product being deliveredResponsible for process compliance & associated documentationAligns risk and control processes into day-to-day responsibilities to supervise and mitigate risk; calls out appropriately
