Dangerous Goods Instructor

Position OverviewWe are seeking a knowledgeable Part-Time Trainer with expertise in 49 CFR, IMDG Code, and IATA regulations to facilitate both in-person and virtual training sessions. This position offers flexible scheduling and is ideally suited for someone who is looking to engage in intermittent work. The role includes travel to client sites, which may require flying to various locations.

Key Responsibilities- Conduct engaging and effective training sessions on 49 CFR, IMDG Code, and IATA regulations.- Develop and manage training materials utilizing advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly PowerPoint.- Deliver training sessions through virtual platforms and in-person at client sites, adapting to the needs of a diverseclient base.- Assist participants with technical issues in virtual environments and ensure a productive learning experience.- Stay updated with the latest regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and relevance of training content.- Travel to various client sites for training delivery, which includes flying as necessary.

Qualifications- Minimum of 3 years of experience in delivering training, with a solid background in instructional design and contentdelivery.- Specific knowledge and experience with 49 CFR, IMDG Code, and IATA regulations.- Experience in assessing client's training requirements.- Excellent skills in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint, and proficiency with multiple software and onlineplatforms.- Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively teach and engage a multicultural audience.- Ability to manage travel requirements, including flying to client locations as part of the training delivery.
