📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
A reputable out-patient facility in the heart of Brooklyn is looking to immediately hire a Full-time Substance Abuse Counselor (LMHC/LMSW/LCSW) with CASAC credential and experience in alcoholism and drug treatment. Salary is $50K-$65K a year plus a hefty employment package that includes PTO and full health insurance.
Responsibilities
Providing individual and group counseling sessions to clients.Conducting intakes and assessments to determine level of care.Developing treatment plans based on bio-psychosocial evaluations.Charting client progress and monitoring treatment effectiveness.Involving family members in the treatment process.Fulfilling additional duties as assigned by the Clinical Director.
Qualifications
Master's Degree: In Mental Health Counseling (MHC), or Social Work (MSW),
License/Certification: CASAC or CASAC-T, and
Experience In Alcoholism And Drug Treatment (1 Year Preferred)
Job Type and Schedule
Full Time, 8 hrs. a day.
Salary
$50K-$65K a year
