📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Role Overview:As a General Superintendent, you'll play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our construction sites, with a particular focus on mechanical and HVAC installations. Your leadership and expertise will ensure that projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:Provide overall leadership and direction for onsite construction activitiesCoordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project successOversee the installation of mechanical and HVAC systems, ensuring compliance with specifications and codesMonitor project progress and quality control measuresImplement and enforce safety protocols and proceduresManage manpower and equipment resources effectivelyResolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction
Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (preferred)7+ years of experience in construction management, with a focus on mechanical and HVAC systemsStrong knowledge of mechanical and HVAC construction methods, materials, and equipmentProven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teamsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environmentOSHA 30-Hour Certification (preferred)
