📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Role Overview:As a Construction Superintendent, you'll be responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of civil and paving construction projects. Your leadership and expertise will ensure that projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:Coordinate and supervise all aspects of civil and paving construction projectsManage project schedules, budgets, and resources effectivelyEnsure compliance with project plans, specifications, and regulatory requirementsOversee subcontractors and vendors to ensure quality workmanship and timely deliveryImplement and enforce safety protocols and proceduresConduct regular site inspections and quality control checksResolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction
Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred)5+ years of experience in civil and paving construction, with at least 2 years in a supervisory roleStrong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment used in civil and paving projectsExcellent leadership and communication skillsAbility to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneouslyProficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Primavera)
