Our client, a global law firm is seeking an Oil and Gas Associate Attorney.
Billable hours- 1950 Schedule- On-site w/flexibility Experience- Class year 2018-2021
Responsibilities:• Handle oil and gas-related commercial contracts, carbon capture, and sequestration projects• Manage general matters related to oil and gas law• Provide legal counsel on acquisitions, divestitures, and joint ventures• Draft and review transaction documents• Manage and negotiate oil and gas-related commercial contracts• Conduct legal research on relevant laws and regulations• Advise clients on acquisitions, divestitures, and joint ventures in upstream and midstream sectors
Qualifications:• Must have 3+ years of experience in oil and gas law• Admission to the Texas State Bar• Significant experience in upstream and midstream M&A transactions• Strong understanding of oil and gas and real property law• Proficiency in drafting transaction documents
