Job Description
As a Technical Project Manager specializing in the banking domain, you will play a crucial role in leading and managing technology projects that drive strategic initiatives and deliver value to our clients. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, technology experts, and external vendors, to ensure the successful delivery of projects within scope, budget, and timeline. Your expertise in Agile methodologies will be instrumental in fostering collaboration, driving innovation, and enabling continuous improvement throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Experienced Project Manager who is capable to execute the projects end-to-end with the banking domain expertise, and who can take the high-level direction and work independentlyLead the planning, execution, and delivery of technology projects in the banking domain, ensuring alignment with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.Collaborate with business stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and success criteria, and establish clear communication channels to manage expectations effectively.Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations, and track progress against milestones, identifying risks and issues proactively and implementing mitigation strategies as needed.Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, fostering a culture of collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement.Work closely with product owners, business analysts, architects, and development teams to prioritize and groom product backlogs, ensuring alignment with business priorities and strategic initiatives.Manage dependencies and interdependencies across multiple projects and teams, coordinating efforts and resolving conflicts to ensure smooth project execution and delivery.Monitor project budget and expenses, track resource utilization, and provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders on project status, risks, and key performance indicators.Implement and adhere to project management best practices, methodologies, and governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.Drive innovation and process improvements within the project management function, leveraging Agile principles and tools to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Agile Certified Practitioner) is a plus.Minimum of 6+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on delivering technology projects in the banking or financial services industry.Strong understanding of banking products, processes, and regulatory requirements, with experience working on projects related to retail banking, commercial banking, or financial markets.Proven experience leading Agile teams and implementing Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) to deliver high-quality software solutions and business outcomes.Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and influence across all levels of the organization.Solid understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and tools, with experience using project management software Rally, JIRA, Microsoft Project.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically, prioritize tasks, and make sound decisions under pressure.Demonstrated track record of successfully managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders, dependencies, and constraints, delivering results on time and within budget.Ability to adapt to changing priorities, manage ambiguity, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Commitment to continuous learning and professional development, with a passion for staying updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in project management.
