The Transportation Engineer will be responsible for transportation planning, traffic engineering, roadway/bridge design, and construction management.
The Transportation Engineer must hold a valid Professional Engineer (PE) license or Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.

Responsibilities
Planning, designing, and managing transportation engineering projects. Performing detailed design work using CADD for the creation of plans, specifications, and estimates related to roadway design. Conducting feasibility studies to evaluate the potential impact of proposed transportation projects. Developing and implementing traffic management systems to improve the efficiency of transportation networks. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the successful completion of projects. Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to transportation engineering. Preparing technical reports and presenting findings to stakeholders and clients. Providing technical guidance to junior engineers and other team members. Keeping up-to-date with the latest advancements in transportation engineering and incorporating them into your work.
Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field. An advanced degree is a plus. A valid Professional Engineer (PE) license or Engineer In Training (EIT) certification is required. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role. Proficiency in CADD and other engineering software. Solid understanding of transportation engineering concepts, practices, and procedures. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
