Position Overview
IT Support Technicians provide end user technical support for our computer and related systems. They perform troubleshooting and configure, repair, and maintain our desktop computer hardware, software, and associated peripherals.
This role is an onsite position in Thief River Falls, MN and operates on a rotating schedule.
Responsibilities
Desktop computer configuration and maintenanceFirst tier end user technical supportTroubleshooting of computer hardware, software, network and peripheralsMonitoring and remediating issues with select server systemsDevelop computer-based solutions for business needs as requiredProvide input to management for resource allocation and prioritization
Required Knowledge, Skills And Experience
Associate degree in CIS, Computer & Network Technology, or similar field strongly preferred0-2 years of experience working in IT or equivalent work experience strongly preferredKnowledge of computer hardware, networking, operating systems, and software packagesExperience with computer troubleshootingSelf-motivatedAn interest in keeping with the latest hardware and software technologiesAbility to operate computer workstation hardware and software

Physical Requirements
Generally, spend the workday sitting at a workstation and operating computer devices, such as, but not limited to keyboard, mouse and screenGenerally, spend the workday performing repetitive motions that involve or affect the hands, head, and other parts of your bodyCapable of lifting up to 40 lbs. from floor to shoulder heightConstantly positions self to maintain computers in the lab, including under the desks and in the server closet
