Communications Specialist

Our client, a large global pharmaceutical company located in the Northern suburbs of Chicago, is seeking a Communications Specialist. This person will be responsible for developing and implementing various communications plans to support multiple projects within the organization.

Responsibilities

Develop and Implement Communication PlansCollaborate with project teams to define the communication objectives and target audience for each project.Develop comprehensive communication plans that include key messages, channels, and timelines.Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure alignment and approval of communication plans.Implement communication strategies through various channels such as email, social media, press releases, and presentations.Write and Edit Content for a variety of communication materials including press releases, blog posts, website content and email newslettersEdit and proofread content to ensure accuracy and readabilityConduct Interviews with project stakeholders to gather insights/success storiesMonitor and Analyze Communication Effectiveness- analyze communication metrics such as open rates, click-thru rates, engagement rates to identify areas of improvementCollaborate with internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field.2-3 + years experience working in CommunicationsPortfolio with samples Proven experience in developing and executing effective communication strategies.Excellent writing and editing skills, with a strong command of grammar and spelling.Proficiency in using various communication tools, such as Microsoft Office Suite and content management systems.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
