Security Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Security Engineer with management potential to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and enhancing our security infrastructure, ensuring the safety and security of our systems and data.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement security protocols and procedures to protect the company's computer networks and systems.Identify and mitigate potential security risks and vulnerabilities.Manage the daily operations and effectiveness of security-related tools and services.Conduct regular system tests and ensure continuous monitoring of network security.Develop strategies to handle security incidents and coordinate incident response activities.Provide technical guidance on security matters to the team and other stakeholders.Stay up-to-date with the latest information security trends and technologies.Conduct security awareness training for staff to ensure security across the board.Collaborate with different departments to ensure compliance with security policies and regulations.Prepare and present security reports to management.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Proven experience as a Security Engineer or similar role in a security-focused environment.Knowledge of various security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, etc.).Strong knowledge of various network architectures, operating systems, and security vulnerabilities.Proficiency in risk assessment tools, technologies, and methods.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex security issues in simple terms.
