DNV ENERGY Insights USA, Inc. seeks an Engineer to work at our office in Middletown, CT.

Job Duties

Identify and quantify the impacts of energy technologies, such as energy efficiency improvements to buildings. Perform third party review of complex energy efficiency measures, and perform inspections. Deploy monitoring equipment to verify successful operation of installed measures. Follow quality assurance protocols, conduct peer-reviews, and produce client-ready analyses and reports. Contribute to the development and implementation of measurement and verification plans. Complete M&V reports. Balance multiple project while keeping all items on-schedule and within budget expectations. Function in a team environment to cooperatively achieve DNV and project goals. Remote work permitted within a reasonable commuting distance of the Middletown, CT office. This position requires 20% domestic travel.

About You

Main Requirements: Bachelors degree in Energy Systems or closely related field of study and two (2) years of experience as an Engineer or related role where required experience gained.

In lieu of a Bachelors degree in stated fields and two (2) years of stated experience, employer will accept a Masters degree in Energy Systems or closely related field of study and no experience.

Special Skills: Also requires education, training or experience in the following:

Performing third party reviews of complex energy efficiency measures, and performing inspections;Producing client-ready analyses and reports;Contributing to the development and implementation of measurement and verification plans; M&V reports;Deploying data logging equipment, processing data and generating savings analyses; andConducting technology and process due diligence.
