Job Description

The Warehouse Supervisor will assist the Warehouse Manager with the supervision and coordination of all aspects of warehouse operations. Effectively and efficiently handle customer service complaints and concerns. Train new team member in job duties. Comfort level working in a diverse, fast-paced environment. Follow company guidelines and company operational policies.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 12pm - 8pm

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Leadership:Recruit and interview new team membersKeep the Warehouse Manager informed of potential problemsAttend and participate in annual Leadership & Development training sessionsAssign job tasks according to shipping schedulesCoordinate team member tasks and responsibilities to receive, store, and load food products and support goods in accordance with established company standards and procedures and within budgeted guidelines while controlling costAssist in compiling daily key indicatorsAccurately complete all necessary paperworkMaintain inventory control through effective warehouse methodsAssist Manager with quarterly counting and/or annual physical inventories using solo chain system reports and inventory software in order to ensure inventory accuracyWarehouse Operations:Review the load sheet and verify the accuracy of the assembled loadAssist driver where needed with pre-departure load checkMake recommendations to the Manager on operational procedures for verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of materials, and keeping warehouse inventory currentAssist Manager with being audit and 5s ready at all timesPerforms regular Gemba walksPerform other duties as assigned by the Manager and/or DirectorAs needed, fills in for Warehouse team member and performs tasks necessary to meet warehouse goals

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED, some college with equivalent work experience, 2-year degree preferred2-3 years of warehouse, manufacturing or production experience2-3 years of supervisory experienceMust have and maintain forklift certificationThorough knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory controlBasic understanding of 5S and KaizenMust successfully pass a background checks every third year on your anniversary dateSolid knowledge of OSHA regulationsSolid knowledge of Microsoft Office softwareAdditional RequirementWear and uphold Domino’s uniform standardsPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSMust be able to stand/walk for up to 10-12 hoursWalking in/ around the warehouse with great frequency; many facilities are over a quarter mile in lengthAble to access all areas of building (ascending and descending ladders, stairs, gangways safely and without limitation)Regular bending, lifting, stretching and reaching both below the waist and above the headLift and move totes up to 49 pounds eachMust be able to work in extreme temperatures [33-38 degrees], and in environments with exposure to loud machinery
