📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Position Overview
The Assembler I is a full-time, entry-level role in Indianapolis, IN, which reports directly to the Production Supervisor and works closely with the Team Lead and other Assemblers.The Assembler I is responsible for performing assembly operations according to assembly/department requirements.
This position is available on 1st Shift (6AM – 2:30PM) with a base pay of $16 per hour (Mandatory overtime as needed)
$2,000 Sign-on Bonus (details provided during interview)
What You Will Do
Perform a variety of basic production and assembly processes by following assembly work instructionsOperate various production assembly machines and may use hand tools to assemble productsVisually inspect parts to quality standards as described in the quality systemCommunicate any problems which arise to the supervisor/lead personPack finished product as set forth by work instruction, including instructional sheets and any necessary hardwareCross-train and rotate on a frequent basis
What We Require
High school diploma or equivalentBasic math skillsProfessional communication skills and ability to follow written assembly instructions in EnglishAbility to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.Ability to use hands, wrists, and fingers for seizing, holding, grasping, turning, etc. as well as for fine manipulation
