📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities

Position Overview: Our team is looking for a committed player with knowledge of the Technical Design process and product construction. This individual should also have experience with pattern making, grading, garment construction, and fitting skills. Reporting to the Product Development Manager, this individual will be responsible for assisting with all technical design needs.
Key Responsibilities: Support with technical skills as directed by TD leadership Release approval comments and production tech pack as directed by TD leadership Assist with preparation for Fit Sessions. Participate and attend fit sessions and record notes for the TD leadership Prepare samples before sample review/fitting Assist in analyzing garment construction, workmanship, pre-bulk, and bulk fabric approvals, trim submits File and organize seasonal fabrics and trims Measure samples, compare construction, and overall execution vs. tech pack requirement Record detailed comments in PLM approval Adhere to the seasonal time and action calendars Daily communication and interaction with internal and external partners Assist with sample closet clean out which occurs after each season
Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in fashion design or closely related program Minimum Experience: 2 – 3 years of industry experience, background in dresses is preferred but not required Strong Skillset in Microsoft Office, Adobe Illustrator & PLM Strong communication and note taking skills. Able to work in fast paced environment and problem solve Basic understanding of fabrics and construction
