Marketing Intern

Driehaus Capital Management LLC is a privately held investment management firm that manages global, emerging markets, US growth equity and alternative investment strategies. The firm has a diverse institutional client base comprised of corporate and public pensions, endowments, foundations, sub-advisory, family offices, wealth managers and financial advisors, globally.

We are seeking an Intern to support our marketing department on a part-time basis for 6-8 weeks this summer in our downtown Chicago office. This position will provide hands-on experience with the marketing side of asset management and give you the opportunity to learn about active management and positioning products for the marketplace. Intern work schedule is 3 to 4 days each week from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. with an hour for lunch.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to

Assisting with database entryAuditing database presenceAuditing staff spreadsheetsReviewing marketing materials for data integrityAssisting with reviewing and assembling marketing presentationsFiling and other office tasksOther projects as directed by the Department

Qualifications:Proficient in Microsoft Office, emphasis on ExcelStrong interpersonal, analytic and oral and written skillsDemonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities; strong attention to detailProactive, innovative, resourcefulPositive attitude; team player
