Job Summary

The Reservationist position is responsible for providing exceptional service while making reservations for leisure, corporate, and group travelers. The Reservationist will work closely with all departments as a cohesive team to maximize revenue and Guest satisfaction and to develop future and repeat business opportunities.

Handle incoming calls using good listening and communication skills to secure information necessary to complete a reservationUse good selling techniques to up-sell when appropriateProcess daily reports, confirmations, advance deposits and purchase orders for future reservationsUpdate GDS reservations (online reservation sites) in reservations system (RDP) and on-line extranetsMust be able to type 30 words per minute with 80% accuracy Additional responsibilities and duties may be added as needed Assist the Reservation Supervisor and Revenue Manager with Reservation Department operationsScrupulously follow all Driftwood and Margaritaville Lake Resort policies and procedures
