General Purpose of Job
The Staff RN is a professional care giver who assumes responsibility and accountability for a select group of patients/families for a designated time frame and provides care to these patients during admission, Phase 1 and Phase 2 anesthesia up to and including transfer/discharge.

Education and/or Experience
Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
BSN preferred.
Current RN License in the state of Texas
Bilingual preferred
Pediatric Experience Required.
Critical Care experience preferred.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations.
Current licensure in the state of TexasCPR CertificationMust test for a unit specific certification (Certified Post Anesthesia Nurse - CPAN, Certified Ambulatory Peri anesthesia Nurse –CAPA) upon qualification to sit for exam.Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - Phase I Recovery Staff
