Position Summary:An Ohio based manufacturer is actively searching for their next Operations Manager. This individual will lead the production team and support the further optimization of manufacturing processes. Working closely with the Plant Manager, you will ensure the efficient and cost-effective production of high-quality products while maintaining a safe and collaborative work environment.
The Operations Manager will have the following responsibilities:mentor, and motivate a diverse team of production personnel to achieve production targets and quality standards.strategies to improve production efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance overall operational performance.regular inspections of manufacturing processes and product samples to identify areas for improvement and prevent defects.the utmost compliance with all necessary EHS and local, state, and federal regulations.regular safety audits, identify potential hazards, and implement measures to mitigate risks and prevent accidents.Lean manufacturing and other best practices to identify and eliminate inefficiencies.
The Operations Manager should have the following qualifications:degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Management, or a related field.leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate at all levels of the organization.knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality management systems, and regulatory requirements.organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
