Senior Buyer Responsibilities:Develop and maintain supplier relationshipsEvaluate supplier performance and negotiate contractsManage supplier quality and delivery performanceDevelop and implement purchasing strategies to optimize cost and qualityWork cross-functionally with engineering, quality, and operations to ensure all purchasing requirements are metManage the procurement of commodities for direct good like mining and packagingSenior Buyer Skill Sets:Experience in the manufacturing industry (preferability plastics or packaging)Strong negotiation and communication skillsDegree in Packaging, Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration5-7 years strategic procurement experience
