Senior Procurement Manager

Responsibilities of the Senior Procurement Manager:Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company goals and objectives.Lead and manage a team of procurement professionals, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand project requirements and develop sourcing plans accordingly.Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, conducting supplier assessments, and managing supplier relationships.Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to achieve favorable terms and pricing.Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies throughout the procurement process.Monitor and analyze market trends, supplier performance, and supply chain risks to inform decision-making.Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize procurement processes, reduce costs, and enhance efficiency.Work closely with other departments, such as engineering, operations, and finance, to support cross-functional collaboration and alignment.Provide regular reports and updates on procurement activities, performance metrics, and key milestones to senior management.

Qualifications of the Senior Procurement Manager:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.Minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the aerospace industry.Strong knowledge of aerospace procurement processes, regulations, and best practices.Proven track record of successfully managing procurement projects and achieving cost savings targets.Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Proficiency in procurement software and tools, such as SAP, Oracle, or similar systems.Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) is a plus
