📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Our client, a prominent player in the Hotel/Hospitality industry, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Vice President of Strategic Sourcing to join their team. This is a strategic leadership role that requires a forward-thinking approach to supplier relationship management and a deep understanding of market trends in the hospitality industry.
This role is being offered as Hybrid out of the **Miami, FL area and offers a competitive salary starting at $250,000-350,000+
Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement sourcing strategies to optimize procurement processes across all categories, including but not limited to food and beverage, amenities, technology, and services.Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing agreements while maintaining high standards of quality and service.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for cost reduction, process improvement, and innovation within the supply chain.Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, internal departments, and executive leadership.Stay informed about market trends, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements to inform strategic decision-making and mitigate risks.Develop and mentor a high-performing team of sourcing professionals, providing guidance and support to drive professional growth and development.
Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.10+ years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, with at least 2 years in an executive level leadership role.Demonstrated success in developing and executing sourcing strategies that drive cost savings and operational efficiencies.Strong negotiation skills and the ability to influence key stakeholders at all levels of the organization.Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.Proven leadership capabilities, including the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve results.Knowledge of the hospitality industry and familiarity with relevant market dynamics and suppliers preferred.Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience with procurement software or ERP systems.
