📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Dynamic Transit is a transportation and logistics company that has operated commercial - Kenworth, Peterbilt, Volvo, & Mack - tractor trailer for over 30 years. With a dedicated and hard-working team of over 300 employees, the Dynamic Transit full-service shop supports our drivers by providing the best maintained equipment on the road.
RESPONSIBILITIES:Perform general inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a fleet of 250 trucksPerform work on Peterbilt diesel engines, transmissions, brake systems and auxiliary power units (APUs)Review repair work orders and discuss work with supervisorsCommunicate with managers or drivers to obtain descriptions of vehicle problemsWork in a safe and professional mannerEnsure cleanliness of shop and surrounding areas
QUALIFICATIONS
Must have own toolsAt least 2 years mechanic experience requiredHigh school diploma or GED required; technical education highly desired.ASE Certification preferred but not requiredValid driver’s licenseMust be able to meet physical requirements of the position (lifting excess of 80 lbs, bending, climbing and standing for duration of a work shift)
