Position: Sr. Java Developer (Capital Markets/Fixed Income/Trade) Location: New York, NY – Hybrid model (3 days onsite)/ only locals
PS: NO EMPLOYER C2C OR EMPLOYER PROFILES Note- Requires Capital Markets exp, front office, real-time trading, fixed Income trading, or electronic trading experience. Responsibilities:Responsible for assisting in technical vision and strategic planning of all aspects of software solutions for Front Office suite of applications.The role will be a key contributor to enhance and maintain our trading system that supports our front office operations for Trade analysis, PNL attribution and reconciliation, risk management and reporting. Qualifications:Software developer with experience in Front Office Risk System covering Fixed Income. At least 10+ years of experience in Java development and proven knowledge of computer science concepts including concurrency, algorithms, data structures, and distributed systems Required:Experience in Fixed Income risk and pricing applicationsExperience working with a global teamProactive self-starter able to take initiative and get things doneExperienced in delivering end user applications or platform technology/API from design to productionStrong core Java development skillsExtensive experience and proven understanding of distributed systems, developing, debugging, profiling and maintaining multi-threaded/asynchronous applications.JVM monitoring, performance tuning, using tools such as JConsole, JVisualVM, JProfiler, Java Mission Control.
