📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
IT Field SpecialistHaines City, Florida, United States (On-site)
Travel Expectations: Travel to 2 other company locations, both 20 minutes from Haines City, FLWork Environment: Onsite locations consist of manufacturing/warehouse environments.This role requires travel to multiple company locations to provide technical support.
Responsibilities:Candidates must hold a valid driver's licenseManage day-to-day LAN and WAN network operations, maintaining documentation and support logs.Provide support for remote connectivity, hardware/software monitoring, and troubleshooting.Collaborate on special projects with Tier 3 and assist with network cabling as needed.Establish and maintain user accounts, including Active Directory management.Manage email/antivirus security and applications.Support VoIP devices and applications, as well as analog fax systems.Troubleshoot and resolve telecommunications issues.Research and procure PC hardware and software.Coordinate product rollouts, hardware refreshes, and computer imaging and deployment.Install, support, and maintain computers, providing assistance for various devices.Develop and maintain IT-related training materials.Assist with heavy equipment installations.
Qualifications:4+ years of experience in system hardware, configuration setup, and troubleshooting.Proficiency with Microsoft server technologies and LAN/WAN/SDWAN networks.Familiarity with Windows Server (Win2K19), Active Directory, and Azure Active Directory.Experience with workstation operating systems (Win10 and Win11) and network monitoring utilities.Strong oral and written communication skills.Ability to provide technical support and convey concepts in non-technical terms.Willing to participate in the on-call rotation if required after hours.
