Admissions Advisor

East-West University is currently seeking a dedicated Admissions Counselor to join our team at the South Loop campus. Reporting directly to the Director of Admissions, the successful candidate will be responsible for implementing recruitment strategies, achieving enrollment goals, and guiding prospective students through the admissions process. This role requires someone with strong interpersonal skills, a passion for higher education, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities- Inform, advise, and counsel prospective students and their families about East-West University's programs and services- Conduct off-campus visits to high schools and community programs to promote the university- Organize and host events for prospective students and their families- Assist students throughout the application process- Effectively communicate the mission and value of East-West University to attract diverse undergraduate students- Promptly respond to inquiries through outbound calls and emails- Conduct campus tours and admissions interviews to engage prospective students and align academic programs with their interests- Maintain regular communication with applicants via telephone, in person, and email to guide them through the admission process- Represent the university professionally at recruitment events- Achieve established performance goals for each admissions cycle- Collaborate with school administrators and faculty to coordinate on-campus recruitment events- Assist the Director with special projects and community outreach initiatives

Qualifications- Bachelor's degree required- 2-3 years of experience in higher education, sales, or student management preferred- Demonstrated success in meeting sales and performance targets consistently- Excellent recruitment, relationship building, and sales skills- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite- Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed- Valid Illinois driver’s license and ability to travel within Chicago and Illinois- Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred
