Role
To be successful in this role you will
Provide services to individuals with intellectual and developmental special needs. Responsible to carry out prescribed individual service plans not limited to daily living activities, transportation, ambulatory and non-ambulatory services, monitoring/ administering medication. These services may be provided either in the community, at facilities or, in homes in support of achieving service recipient’s goals. Deliver quality services and builds strong customer relations with internal and external stakeholders making Easterseals New Jersey the service provider of choice. This position requires flexibility to work in multiple locations within the specified county and perform necessary work assignments that will accommodate the needs of the service recipients.
Skills & Qualifications You Will Need
High school diploma or equivalent required. Must be at least 18 years of age. Experience that demonstrates the ability to provide direct assistance to individuals with disabilities. Effective verbal and written communication utilizing the English language. Ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees, persons receiving services, and the general public. Valid drivers’ license and a good driving record is required. Ability to perform basic computer functions, including documentation in an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
