Insurance Producer
Our client, a well-established independent insurance agency, is actively looking to hire an Insurance Producer for their office in Olathe, Kansas. This individual will focus on new sales and revenue growth for the agency in the commercial and personal lines space.
Requirement and Qualifications Quantifiable sales experience, preferably in the insurance industry. Current property and casualty license. Strong knowledge of the insurance industry and lines of insurance. Excellent time management and self-motivation. Proficiency of Microsoft suite of products. Sound, professional communication skills both written and verbal. Excellent documentation of meetings, conversations, and client requests. Develop lead and referral sources. Schedules client meetings and performs appropriate follow up.
Job DutiesCreate a marketing strategy introducing client to prospects.Develop sphere of influenceAssess the insurance needs of prospective clients.Collect appropriate client information for carrier submissions.Present proposal and gain binding order.Attending a minimum of three networking groups on a consistent basis.
This is a full-time position that requires candidates to be in the office normal working hoursMonday through Friday other than appointments or networking events.
