📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
PURPOSE OF THE ROLEOur client is seeking an experienced and highly skilled front-end Senior Shopify Developer for a high-growth DTC brand based in Manhattan (hybrid in-office).
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEEDAt least five years’ experience.A portfolio of work that showcases your abilities.Skills in JS, HTML5, CSS, SCSS and Git.Comprehensive knowledge of Shopify Liquid Template Language and Shopify APIs.Experience working with Shopify subscriptions, Recharge, Ordergroove or other subscription apps.Experience working with Figma, Sketch or Photoshop.You work well independently, but also as part of a highly motivated team.Ability to problem solve, both creatively and technically.You can share knowledge and give technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers on the team.You have an eye for detail and love bringing sites to life with animation and clean structured code.You can collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product owners and project managers, to ensure project success and timely delivery.You ensure UX, performance, SEO, security, and accessibility best practices are implemented and upheld.
NICE TO HAVES:Experience working with AB testing software / CRO and testing.WordPress development experience or store migrations from WordPress to Shopify.Experience working with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.Previously worked in an eCommerce environment.Server-side languages to perform secure API requests (PHP, Ruby etc).
