📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
ESC has an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Manager to work hybrid in Seattle for our premier client’s Corporate Finance Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. The FP&A team provides strategic support to the company’s CFO and executive team (S-team) on enterprise-wide planning, analysis, and reporting. The team is responsible for the production and administration of several key finance deliverables.
This highly visible role will be responsible for the forecasting, reporting, and analysis of the company’s Free Cash flow with a focus on Working Capital. This individual will partner with business teams across Amazon to gain a comprehensive understanding of the FCF drivers for Working Capital and prepare insightful analyses and narratives for the CFO and the senior leadership team. This role will drive key projects and be a key business partner to the business finance teams, Finance Operations, and Accounting.
Key job responsibilities - provide support for the Corp FP&A team with a focus on Free Cash Flow related matters.Lead executive level Free Cash Flow related projectsContribute to Balance Sheet Working Capital forecasting, reporting, and analysis.Perform financial analyses and provide insightful narratives related to Working Capital and FCFGather, define, and drive requirements for and prioritize projects to improve reporting functionality, accuracy, and automation.Ad hoc financial analysis and data support for business teams and finance leadershipEnhance existing forecasting modelsBuild executive level presentations highlighting the quarterly financial results and related guidance rangesPresent ad hoc business analysis and recommendations to senior leadershipConsult on company-wide forecasting activitiesRecommend and deliver improvements and provide scoping documents for system and process enhancements
Required Qualifications:8+ years of finance experience or accounting experienceBachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics or AccountingMBA or MS in Finance, Economics or a related fieldExperience in Accounting, Corporate FP&A or Business Finance functionsBackground in financial statement analysis and knowledge of general accounting principlesDemonstrated ability to develop and present analyses and insights to senior managementExperience in financial reporting and scalable processesProven ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workloadExceptional verbal and written communication skillsAdvanced analytic, financial modeling, and reporting skills
