📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
We are seeking an exceptional technical writer to join our clients’ Web Services team. As a Technical Writer for their Web Services team, you will be responsible for creating and publishing technical documentation for their technology platform. This includes developing developer's guides and detailed API documentation that accurately conveys the functionality and usage of their platform components. You will collaborate closely with software developers to understand complex systems, create sample applications, and effectively communicate technical concepts to a developer audience. This position will report onsite in Seattle, WA. Key Responsibilities:develop, and deliver documentation for the Foundational Web Services platformcontent re-use and single-sourcing strategies to maximize efficiency and consistencyin evaluating and selecting tools and technologies for the technical publications team
Qualificationsyears of experience in a writing or lead writing roleability to work with developers and write for a developer audiencewith a programming language such as Java, C#, or C++experience designing documentation for software APIsinterpersonal, written, and verbal communication skillsto thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environmentwith XML-based publishing systems preferredexperience with web services and related technologies is a plus
